Vintage History: Predictions for 21st Century Fashion

A funny video featuring fashion designers of the 1930s predicting trends for the year 2000. It's pretty silly. I mean, they're really fixated on electricity, and I can only imagine how crazy the ideas seemed at the time. But how far off is it really? Transparent dresses and wedge heels? Dressing for climate-controlled conditions, i.e. air conditioning and central heat? And actually carrying around all your gadgets, including your phone? Hmm, maybe not so crazy after all.
